It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing away of Marhuma Sherbanu (Banubai) Rajmohamed, who passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Allentown, Pennsylvania and was buried there on the same day.
Marhuma was the wife of Marhum Akberali Rajmohamed.
Marhuma was the mother of Jamila Soonasra, Shamim Rajmohamed, Anvery Musa, Mohamed Raza Rajmohamed (all of Allentown), Zarina Kassamali (Houston) and Yasmin Rajmohamed (Toronto).
Marhuma was the mother-in-law of Marhum Abdullah Soonasra, Akbar Khwaja, Marhum Alimohamed Musa, Siddiqa Rajmohamed (all of Allentown), Naushad Kassamali (Houston) and Ashaf Ali Aladin (Toronto).
Marhuma was the grandmother of Sajjad Kassamali, Farhana Kassamali, Aasif Musa, Anisa Musa, Fatema Rajmohamed, Kazim Ali Rajmohamed, Aliraza Soonasra, and Taslima Aladin.
Marhuma was the great-grandmother of Ayaan Kassamali, Amaar Kassamali, Zaynab Kassamali, Sabira, Noor Musa, Asiya Musa, Hassan Virani, Ali Abdulrasul, Zahra Munira Abdulrasul, & Sakina Rajmohamed, & Zainab Fatema Mehdi.
Marhuma was the sister-in-law of Mohamed Husayn Rajmohamed, Mahera Rajmohamed, and the aunt of Karim Rajmohamed.
May Almighty Allah (swt) rest the Marhuma’s departed soul in eternal peace in Jannah and give the family the fortitude to bear this monumental loss – Ameen.
Surah Al-Fatiha is requested for Marhuma Sherbanu (Banubai) Rajmohamed and all other Marhumeen.
