It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing away of Marhum Kurbanali Hasanali Nasser Virji, who passed away today, Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, in Vancouver, BC. Burial details are being finalized.
Marhum was the husband of Marhuma Raziabai (Fatema) Virji, father of Munir Virji, Asgar Virji, and Nafisa Jaffer, and father-in-law of Tahera, Shahin, and Najmul.
Maruhum was the brother of Marhuma Sakina, Marhum Mohamedali, Marhuma Zainab, Marhum Nasir, Maher Rashid, and Roshan Aubin.
He leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was the grandfather of the entire community in Vancouver and will be deeply missed.
